Each Month you, the public, can let us know of any special youth that should be recognized for their kind and thoughtful ways. We want to recognize the outstanding youth in your community by awarding one of them per month.

Hero Of The Month Award:

The Community & Children’s Impact Center

Present this Special Award to:

JEREMY S.

Mrs. Loyacano’s 4th grade class

Valley Ranch Elementary

You have impressed us with your compassion for others

and your love for family and friends.

It takes some people a life time to figure out

What you already know.

We honor you with our Hero Of the Month Award

We hope others will follow your lead.

Jeremy was asked by his teacher if he could meet any famous person who would it be and what would he do? He said he does not need to meet a famous person that he would spend time with his family and play basketball. Story was posted in the May 20th Green Sheet.

On June 1st, 2009 during one of Jeremy's classes at Valley Ranch Elementary the Impact Team showed our appreciation to an outstanding youth.

Pictured are: Angie Few, Director, Ghari Bridges, an Impact youth member and myself. They helped me present this award and a basketball, purchased by Angie. Also pictured, is Mrs. Brenda, standing proud beside her awesome son. Mrs. Brenda is also a school teacher at Vally Ranch. Ghari Bridges is a new youth member who is working on building her points in our Zero's To Hero's Program. Thanks Ghari we are very proud of you too!

The newsletter is currently under revision, along with this website.

While you are waiting, and even once the newsletter has begun again, if you would like to contribute any of the following, I will appreciate your sincere help:

  • an idea for an article
  • a question for our kids
  • a tasteful, clean joke
  • a quote, please include who said it
  • a slang term that you would like the definition for (remember, this is a kid's site)

I will use ideas when I can, but I cannot guarantee a submission will be used or even when it will be published

Thanks! ~Caroline
